In our churches, the festival continues beyond "Twelfth Night" and the Feast of the Epiphany - and lasts right through until Candlemas
So, though the tree has been taken down, and the star no longer shines from the top of the church tower, we are still very much in celebration mode at St Matthew's.
Worship this month happens at the usual times
9.30 on Sunday 8th
10.00 on Sunday 15th
9.30 on Sunday 22nd
BUT with a special celebration service on
SUNDAY 29th at 10.00 when we will celebrate CANDLEMAS with a more candles, processions & excitement.
We will welcome the church family from our sister church of All Saints, Selsley, that day - and hope it will be a really memorable celebration of Jesus, the Light of the World.
