Mathew's Ordination

After a year of ministry among us as a Deacon, Mathew Page, our curate, will be ordained priest by Bishop Michael at Gloucester Cathedral on Saturday 12th June at 4.30. Though it looks as if we've filled the coach going from Westwood Road to the Cathedral, it's worth contacting Kathryn if you'd like to go onto a reserve list - and of course there's plenty of room for all if you don't mind travelling under your own steam.

Mathew will preside at the Eucharist for the first time the following morning at a special 10.00 United Service...This will be followed by a bring & share lunch (sign up sheet at St Matthew's, so you can see what food would be helpful) and a chance for all of us to celebrate what is an exciting new chapter in the life of our benefice as well as a wonderful landmark in Mathew's own journey of ministry.
