Your wedding at St Matthew's

St Matthew's is the parish church for Cainscross, Cashes Green and Ebley - which means that if you live here you are welcome to be married in the church. If you live elsewhere, it will probably still be possible: do contact us to check.

You do not have to be a regular churchgoer to get married in the Church of England, neither do you need to have been baptised. If one of you has been married before, there is still a good chance that you can have your wedding in church: please just ask. The Church welcomes the opportunity for you to make your solemn promises to each other not just in front of your family and friends but also in the sight of God and with God's blessing. In the run up to your wedding, we will spend time with you, working through the service, helping you to choose music and readings that are right for you, and doing everything we can to make your wedding service really special. But for us it doesn't end there...

Though your wedding will surely be a wonderful day, your marriage is even more important - and the church and the clergy are there to offer you support at any time in the years ahead.
If you'd like to talk about getting married at St Matthew's (or at our sister church of All Saints, Selsley) then please do email
